... Danny Howell has been invited to give a presentation at the Northwest Soaring Conference at Seattle in The Museum of Flight.
Danny will be a featured speaker on March 21, 2009. 
Mr. Howell will provide an update on the status of the Light Hawk in addition to addressing the difficult design challenges and manufacturing advances required to produce a glider capable of  exploiting microlift as defined by the FAI sporting code.

2010 SSA Convention


Watch for the LightHawk at the SSA 2010 convention.  The LightHawk glider was a popular display at the 2008 SSA convention in Albuquerque, NM.  Additionally, Danny Howell gave a presentation on micro soaring.

First flight of the LightHawk

July 31, 2002 -The LightHawk has flown. It has successfully flown the first flight test program at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in California. Read Mark Stucky's (test pilot) thoughts here.
